What
is Yasuragi
We are very excited to introduce an insightful scientific and
educational magazine. Yasuragi means "peace of mind" in Japanese and
has been published since August 2002. The Yasuragi magazine is not
just an ordinary publication. It is a journal that focuses on issues
that pertain to science, society and Islamic spirit for the purpose
of establishing a dialogue among people who come from significantly
different backgrounds. Its purpose is to inform and aid in bringing
people with different interests together without pressure and
without bias.
Yasuragi is published by a diverse group of people including
academicians, students and volunteers who represent various
disciplines of thought. In every issue, Yasuragi focuses on a number
of moral, social and technological dilemmas we are facing at the
dawn of a new millennium.
Yasuragi is filled with refreshing points of view such as essentials
of faith, study series about faith, prophet Muhammad (saw), Quran
and science, practicing Islam, hadith corner, daily prayers, various
essays, recipes, letters from the readers so on. You will also find
articles from respectful scholars translated into Japanese.

As a campaign, we send a free issue for trial. To get it regularly

The subscription fee of the magazine is 2500 yen for 12-month or
1300 yen for 6-month. Back issues can be purchased at 200 Yen per
